EQuIP Your Team for Success

“The course was very engaging for being virtual AND being on a Saturday. Great topics. Great speakers. Keep it up!” ~ 2023 GI Unit Leadership course participant

Your colleagues agreed: the physician-nurse faculty knocked it out of the park for the 2023 GI Unit Leadership course, and we have every intention of keeping it up! We will do so by:

  • Enhancing the currency of discussions led by expert faculty with the incorporation of more case-based scenarios, some of which were provided by your peers. The case-based scenarios are real-life examples of things that could happen in an endoscopy unit. Please feel free to contribute your own scenarios via quality@asge.org.
  • Offering access to courses at individual and group registration rates, with discounts for honoree units of the Ã÷ÐÇÂãÕÕ Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program. Up to 10 team members can participate at the group registration rate. The 2023 GI Unit Leadership course had a mix of participants, ranging from GI unit team members of all roles to quality administrators to practice managers to the C-suite. The horizontal threads of quality and safety tie everyone together for these important and engrossing discussions.
  • Continuing to offer quality courses twice a year to ensure you and your team have access to current and timely information relative to quality and safety in the GI endoscopy unit.

The next Ã÷ÐÇÂãÕÕquality course, GI Unit Leadership: EQuIP Your Team for Success, will take place virtually on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Practical, creative problem-solving begins with a strong Endoscopy Quality Improvement Program. Through this course, Ã÷ÐÇÂãÕÕintends to equip your vibrant, engaged team with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to identify and prioritize the essential, value-added work that ensures optimal patient outcomes, positive patient experiences and a healthy work environment. We hope you can join us!
